Hey, I’m Quynh Orange — Nguyễn Đức Quỳnh.
I’m the creator, architect, and maintainer of VIEApps NGX, the open-source platform for distributed systems you just came from.
Principles: Built on Guru-grade standards, not hype
2015–2017: 2 years testing against the doctrine
I designed VIEApps NGX against the non-negotiable standards set by Andrew S. Tanenbaum, Leslie Lamport, Eric Brewer, Daniel Abadi and Peter Deutsch. Spent 2 years testing every protocol, platform, and framework.
Checklist: Tanenbaum’s Single-System Image and 8 Types of Transparency; Lamport’s No Global Clock; Brewer’s CAP Theorem plus Daniel Abadi’s PACELC; and Peter Deutsch’s 8 Fallacies of Distributed Computing. Only WAMP survived.
2017–2019: Built to obey physics, on top of Reactive streams
No framework could guarantee Partial Failure tolerance + No Global Clock + Impossibility of Exactly-Once at the same time. WampSharp was the only WAMP implementation built on ReactiveX — giving me the composable, async primitives the physics demanded. So I took it as the foundation, then extended and hardened the runtime and framework around it.
Stream → break → backpressure → harden. For 2 years.
2019–Present: Production with zero re-architecture needed
Live since 2019. It passes Lamport’s test: failure of a computer you didn’t even know existed doesn’t render your system unusable.
This site
This is my personal site, in Vietnamese. I write about coaching, direct-response marketing & storytelling for business/solopreneurs, and life.
My storytelling formula is called “Hành trình Người hùng” — The Hero Journey. Rooted in Joseph Campbell’s monomyth. Adapted with Michael Hauge’s Six Step Success Stories formula & 4C storytelling formula (Character → Challenge → Climax → Change). Same as formula that Russell Brunson uses.
I translated Hauge’s Storytelling Made Easy into Vietnamese in Sep 2024, not published yet.
If you’re curious, use Google Translate or any AI tool. I build distributed systems and teach stories that sell — not English translations of my life story.
